personal, i do not think this movie attacks christianity. but looking on mrs.pullman's interview with a few people, he says that it is about a "church that acquaired great power." also looking back on the movie after reading this and hearing a few students state their opinions i think that the "one lil cut" is something they say to get rid of the original sin that happened to their world. so therefore, i think this movie attacks christianity. I believe the writer is arguing that far back in the past humans made a terrible sin. Something that the church would never approve of. so later on in life, people are trying to make things right or rather the church is trying to make right. That is what i believe the writer is arguing. "Sometimes people think that if something is done in the name of faith or religion, it must be good. Unfortunately, that isn’t true; some things done in the name of religion are very bad. That was what I was trying to describe in my story."

when i am watching movies like these. i dont really jump to think one thing. i kind of sit back and just watch the movie. sure, authors have certain reasons to why they made movies, but i am not the type to really analyze these kinds of things. what i wrote is how i saw the movie after reading a few things and trying to attempt to analyze the movie.

my perfect day ((11))

I have many ideas for a perfect day for me.I would starts off my waking up really late. A good sleep would do me good. Wake up to breakfast in bed by the most perfect person ever, my boyfriend. Then I would take my time getting dressed and all and he would take me shopping. Then possibly the sweetest date ever. A romantic date is so perfect for me. Im not sure what kind of food or anything but just a romantic dinner either by candle light or by moon light. Cause im a sucker for things like that. Maybe a movie after with the whole theatre rented out for us.im kind of the girl for chivalry and stuff like that. And at the end of the night… go home and just watch tv together with him until we fall asleep. I find that to be the most perfect day ever. To be treated like the queen of my boyfriends world. Doing something with him is always the perfect day ever. I love him with all my heart and just being with him is perfect enough for me. but for him to do something as sweet as that would just kill me.

Robert Greenwald, director of the documentary Outfoxed, tried to dipict Fox news for all the lies that they every told. Once the show began to air, many people then thought that most of what was said was true. Fox news began to lose many viewers due to the show Outfoxed. This documentary also reveals the secrets of Former Fox news producers, reporters, bookers and writers who expose what it's like to work for Fox News. Some of the claims made in this documentary showed Fox News as very cruel liars. Bill O'Reilly was the star of Fox news and the show Outfoxed showed him as a liar and someone who is to harsh to his guests. He stated the he only told someone to shut up once but come to find out, he said shut up 30 times on the air but were not all directly played on television. Robert Greenwald exposed Bill O'Reilly for the person he truly was, a rude pathological liar. Nothing more said. So why exactly would Mr.Bill try to lie about thing when he knew eventually he would get caught?? People will never know.

A lot of things have been happening to me lately. I had prom this year, which was awesome by the way. Our pictures came out so cute. But instead of going to EA's prom we went to my boyfriends prom at STA.

I had a powder puff game this past weekend.it was against the freshmen. Sure we tied 2-2, but we kicked from butt. we only had like 7 players and they had like 15. of course, they are just freshmen and we are juniors. so they were scared. HAHA!! im proud of our team. i knew we had it in us. but one part that sucked was noel williams. He threw the football in my face! he sucks

Can you believe it??? its finally the end of the school year and next year...im going to be a SENIOR!! YAY! i've been waiting for this year since kindergarden. im finally going to be top dog .i am going to rule the school. me and my friends are going to have the time of our lives next year.

Abortion((8))

Many people believe abortion is right while others tend to believe it is wrong. When people have an abortion they are killing a human being or a potential human being. For some, haveing an abortion is a way to get away from their mistakes, but abortions shouls not even be an option. People should live with what they did and deal with the consequences. Therefore, abortion is wrong becuase a life is being taken.

Abortion is killing a potential being and murder is morally wrong. Murder is wrong in God's eyes and is a horrible sin. Nothing is right about killing a life. When someone does the wrong thing and gets an abortion, they have to life with the guilt of knowing they took a life. When someone kills another, they get the same in return. They are sentenced to jail for life or even death themselves. Is not killing illegal?? Then should not abortion be illegal??

Abortion is bad because people are killing something or someone. There is always another option. They can give it up for adoption but abortion is the wrong answer. Just because someone thinks their life is ruined and still want to go out and party does not mean they should take a life. Who knows, that baby could become president and do many great things, but no one will know because that person had an abortion. Do not ruin their life because someone else's life is ruined. Overall, abortion is wrong and there are ways to have the baby and still have a normal life.

Killing a life is the worst thing someone can do. Some people think it is the way to go but it is not. There is always another way to go about not keeping a baby. Can someone really live with the thought of putting a life to death? Can someone really live with the thought of killing a life? Think about it.

Pearl Jam "Jeremy" ((6))

Jeremy is a little boy that never got any attention from his parents and was picked on by his classmates. He was a quiet boy, yet with his actions, spoke in class that day. He was in his own little world and felt regected. With being picked on, he was unleashed. He took his anger out on everyone that picked on him; made them feel guilty for ever doing that. He didn't directly hurt them, from what was shown in the video, but later on in life made his classmated feel the pain he did. In this song and video, they are trying to inform you of what some kid and the classmates went through; trying to make you feel the pain too. Poor Jeremy felt as though he was on top of his world when he made his impact on many lives.

My Writing ((5))

Im going to be honest. im not the greatest writer. matter of fact, i don't see how my writing got me into this AP class. I do believe my strength would be that i always understand the topic i have to write about. My weakness would be that i cant get it out on paper and make it good. i feel like i can do so much better, but it just doesnt come out that way. i think that if i learn better words to put in place of some things it would help. Also just overall bettering my writing would help. i mean, not everyone is perfect at writing.

Can you tell if your really intelligent? ((4))

How do you know if someone is really intelligent? How do you know that their really smart or just saying a bunch of bullcrap? Everyone at one point in their lives have met someone who thinks they know everything. Well I think its impossible to learn everything. Sometimes you just want to tell that person to just shutup and go read a book or something. Someone who is really intelligent do not try to brag about there smarts. When the time comes and they know its right, they say something. Others on the other hand, just yell things out at the inappropriate time. An intelligent person is someone you can go to talk to, or a person who helps you make hard decisions. They have much common sense as to what to say and when to say it. They don’t think they are better than others. Intelligence comes in many ways. Different people are intelligent in different ways, not all for the same reason. An intelligent person is someone who can understand everything that is thrown at them, yet isn’t a meat head about things. Also, they don’t try to act stupid or immature. Intelligent people act mature in everything. They don’t just take a situation and become immature and then in another situation act mature. That’s a person who thinks they just know it all but aren’t intelligent. Intelligent people know that they don’t know it all but try to gather as much information as they can. So are you saying bullcrap or are you really intelligent????

Truth, Belief, and Knowledge((3))

What can you gain from belief, truth, and knowledge? What do all of these have in common? How are all of these different? Well, due to some knowledge in class, i believe many things from this theory. But if you look at it, everything can be true.Due to some callous, complex thinking really cleared a few things up to me. I hope you can understand my thoughts.

Truth, Belief, and Knowledge are all the same in one way but different in another. They both go hand in hand with the other, if you look at it at a certain perspective. Looking at knowledge..knowledge is something you know, something you acquire from the things around you. Truth... is something that is true..actuality..not like a lie..basically the opposite of a lie. You gain the truth from the knowledge you build. Belief.. (like God)..is something you think of in your own way, it does not need to explained, nor do you need to argue your beliefs. given that we are handed a bible that seems to be true, knowledge comes from it with beliefs. Your knowledge can be true if you believe, but if everyones beliefs are different, how do we know the knowledge that everyone has is true? it could just be what they believe is the truth. But looking at Plato's venn diagram makes me question everything i know about knowledge, truth and belief. Your knowledge relates to what you believe to be true. And truth comes from what you believe from your knowledge. And belief comes from everything that is true and your knowledge to what you think is true. Not only that, knowledge can stand out on its own. Everything is twisted together and really gets you to start thinking.

so how exactly can we differ these things from each other???

On November the fifth, the citizens of London were going about their enforced lives by the government, had they voiced their opinions openly, they would have been prosecuted. On this day, V gave London the biggest reality check of their lives. In the middle of the day, interrupting everyone’s government approved programs was how V decided to commemorate the fifth of November. He wanted to embed the knowledge of corruption that has been led into their lives. This is where V decided to sit down and have a “little chat.”
This “little chat” symbolized a need for an awaking of the people’s eyes to the governmental controls and dictatorship at the time. V would successfully bring this out by exposing Parliament’s ways to the people. With his discussions, he belittled the government by saying “there is something terribly wrong with this country” setting the tone. Due to the vocal uprising, it’s suspected that the government will retaliate with brute force. Although the uprising believes that words of truth will carry more weight over time than the use of brute force.
Through his vocal uprising he enlightened the people on how this happened and who is to blame, which all indications showed it being in their control. On the other hand, he indicated during his speech that he understood the fears and problems they faced. He understood the promises made by the High Chancellor Adam Sutler that were not followed through.
Last night, on his own, his silent awareness moved to the next level of retaliation. He goes on to state in his speech that the people “see what I see, is you feel as I feel, and is you seek as I seek,” they would join in the uprising. V sought to become what one citizen did more than four hundred years ago. “His hopes,” he states, “ was to remind the world that fairness, justice and freedom are more than words – they are perspectives.” By gathering everything he has and the hope that others will follow, he will give Parliament a fifth of November no one will ever forget.

I am pretty crazy and spontaneous! Life is crazy so why shouldn’t I be??? i HATE to be alone...its very depressing. but i do enjoy the occasional "ME TIME" but not for long. i cant sit still for long.i am very emotional about everything but i dont let it stop me from being who i am. i am different and i LOVE that about myself. i am ditzy at times and i fall all the time. but its a part of me and if you dont like it...tough!!
